From Principal Kevin Webster
Dear Henry County Community,
I am incredibly excited and deeply honored to serve as Principal of Henry County High School. After spending the past eight years working in this district—and making the choice to bring my daughter here as well—Henry County has become much more than a place of work. It’s become home.
With more than 25 years in education, I bring a broad range of experience as both a teacher and leader. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History from Centre College, a Master of Arts in Education from
Union College, and most recently, a Rank I in Educational Leadership and Principal’s Certificate from the University of the Cumberlands. These experiences have fueled my passion for growth, learning, and service.

As I step into this leadership role, my vision is rooted in the belief that this is not my school—it is our school. Together, we will create a space that honors tradition, values every voice, and prepares our students for life beyond graduation. Whether that next step is college, a career, the military, or another pathway, we are here to support and guide each student to reach their highest potential.
My philosophy is simple: students should leave Henry County High School better than they arrived—smarter, stronger, and more prepared to lead and thrive in their communities. I want every student to feel challenged academically, supported personally, and empowered to grow into thoughtful, capable citizens.
I know this work won’t always be easy, but I also know that—with a strong partnership between students, staff, families, and the broader community—we can accomplish great things together. I’m looking forward to working alongside each of you as we continue to build something special at Henry County High School.
It’s Great to be a Wildcat!

From Assistant Principal Dr. Becky Wright
Welcome to Henry County High School!
I am incredibly honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at HCHS—a place I’ve been proud to call home for over a decade as a teacher, coach, and parent. Our school is filled with potential, and I am deeply committed to helping every student, staff member, and family feel a true sense of belonging, pride, and purpose here.
At HCHS, we believe in high expectations paired with strong relationships. Whether it's in the classroom, on the field, or in the hallways, we are building a culture where students are known, challenged, and supported. We are proud of our community, and we know that our work matters—not just for today, but for our students’ futures.

In my role, I focus on supporting great instruction, strengthening our MTSS and RTI systems, and fostering a positive school culture where everyone has a voice. I prioritize data-driven decision-making to ensure that our supports and interventions are meaningful and effective. I also believe strongly in encouraging every student to find their place—whether that’s through career exploration, extracurriculars, clubs, or service opportunities. When students are engaged in something they care about, they thrive.
My door is always open. I welcome your questions, ideas, and collaboration as we work together to help all of our students grow, lead, and succeed.
It’s a great day to be a Wildcat!
